Baptism: What is Baptism? Baptism is not simply water, but it is the water comprehended in God’s command and the connection with God’s Word.
What is the Word of God? It is that which our Lord Jesus Christ spoke as it is recorded in the last chapter of Matthew, verse 19: “Go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”
Holy Baptism in the Lutheran expression of faith confers everlasting salvation on all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and accepts the promise of God’s salvation declared in the Word of God. At Bethlehem, the Pastor joyfully offers the sacrament of Holy Baptism to children and adults alike.
Weddings: Bethlehem offers the sacrament of marriage, a joining together between consenting adults who desire to enter into a lifelong commitment of love, faithfulness and trust.
Funerals/Burials: The Pastor is available to provide bereavement interventions and counseling for families in need of these services. The Pastor is also available to perform funerals, memorial services and burials upon request.
